Guest houses save 30% – 50 % electricity before world cup 2010

Monday, April 26th, 2010

Of course if you happen to be the proprietor of a hotel or hospitality venue, your energy bills will be astronomical and again this is where our energy harnessing systems come into their own. Most decent hotels and gym facilities offer a swimming pool and this is, without a shadow of a doubt, an intense drain on their energy resources. Our efficient solar panels are more than capable of keeping swimmers happy and warm. Similar to our solar water heating systems, they are specifically designed for the task at hand. As a company we’re committed to helping households , farms and small businesses save electricity. It doesn’t matter if you’ve got a farm situated halfway up a mountainside, or a property that is in complete isolation, our panels can harness power for you wherever you may be. Our clients are giving us great references on our website here,  www.geysersmart.co.za our systems are tried and tested, so you can be assured that the system we install for you will give you years of fabulous and stable supply of hot water. Table Mountain’s lights were switched off during Earth Hour and the city of Cape Town used lanterns for lighting, this saved the world a heck of a lot of electricity, do your bit now.

Large developers can save thousands everymonth on their electrical bills!

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010

Large developers buy electricity in bulk for the whole development, they then sell it onto their tenants in the blocks.  They could fit geyserWise systems and have savings of up to R50 000 per month , which they could pass on to the clients or keep themselves if they paid for the units on their own.  We supply and install, but you are welcome to buy and install yourself too.  Our reputation for excellence reaches far and wide and we’re very proud of the fact that our company is working with you to reduce electricity bills throughout South Africa. We are committed to ensure that everyone in our area has the chance to benefit from our excellent range of GeyserSmart units not just those that have roofing that can fit solar, people in apartments can use these too,  it is so affordable too. Discounts are available for 10 or more units at a time.  Assessing your requirements shouldn’t actually take too long and whether you want solar water heating systems for a normal household, or multiple systems for a large development, our installation can be undertaken quite quickly.  The installation of one of our GeyserSmart units for only R1650 can immediately save households up to 30% on their energy bills.  We have many references that claim that their electricity bill came down in the first month from R800 to R450 per month.  Visit here to see more www.geysersmart.co.za

Choosing a Hot Water Geyser?

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010

When choosing a solar geyser, look out for the following:

SABS mark of approval
GEYSERWISE certification
Five-year warranty
 Eskom accreditation

Heating water is only one of the tasks of a solar geyser. Retaining the heat generated through sunlight is another important issue.  With over 12 years experience in the energy saving industry in South Africa, we have become the obvious choice in both geyserwise units and solar geysers for many households.
The product has been awarded the SABS mark of approval. Our solar geysers are subsidised by Eskom, meaning that our clients get cash back when they purchase our solar water heaters. click here to see pictures of our units installed GeyserSmart Solars

Will our children have electricity?

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010

We should start to look at keeping our resources available for future generations. It is crucial that we say “NO MORE power outages”, and it is essential to reduce our fossil fuel emissions, and thereby you will also have a significantly reduced electric bill.

Transitioning to solar power is a must, and now it is not only much cheaper because of the well priced units that we are importing from China, but the government is even giving you a huge subsidy, making the transition to “Green” much easier.

GeyserSmart is a Geyserwise certified and licensed installer and an Eskom accredited installer.  We assist our clients who choose alternative energy in their drive towards going green. We specialise in installing either Geyserwise units or full hot water geyser solar systems in homes and businesses. We offer excellent service and have an excellent service record, visit our website here for more info www.geysersmart.co.za .

China is at the forefront of renewable green energy technologies!

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

Many say that China should be at the forefront of embracing nuclear energy, they replaced US in 2006 as the worlds biggest polluter and need to improve their energy mix.  China’s has a growing appetite for electricity, it tripled from 1997 to 2008.  Their aim is to generate 70 gigawatts of nuclear power by 2020, yet this will only account for around 10 percent of their total energy needs. China is currently the biggest player in the game of bringing our planet back to health by developing solar and therefore making our planet green again, and yet they are no example for the issues on climate change as their greenhouse-gas emissions are one of the worst in the world, and in the region of doubling over the next 15 years or so.  The US is still the biggest user of nuclear power with 104 reactors running.  Want to be part of the solution, fit solar for free hot water, comes fully installed at only R9 995 click here SolarGeyser

Solar water heating – the cheap new “in thing”

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

What is Solar water heating? It is using the sun’s energy to heat your water which accounts for the largest part of your electricity bill.  The panels absorb the energy from the sun, thus making it a stunning renewable energy source. This cuts a significant amount of carbon dioxide emissions from entering the Earth’s atmosphere and ofcourse, thereby lessens the negative impact on the environment hugely.

Energy Minister Dipuo Peters, said the African continent was so behind in implementation of solar water heating mainly due to the previously high costs involved. She said that she was confident that the new 5 year target would be met though, because it is targeted around saving people money.  Eskom has offered incentives to persuade households to turn to solar power. Solar geysers are very basic appliances, heating water via a solar panel fitted to the roof that causes the hot water to rise by convection and then circulate through the geyser. They range in price from about R9 995 for a 150 litre geyser to up to R12 500 for a 300 litre geyser, but you can pay as much as R30 000 from some companies. Always look for them to be SABS approved and the units should come with a 5 year guarantee.  Heating water is only one of the tasks of a solar geyser. Retaining the heat generated through sunlight is a very important factor, not only at night, but also in overcast weather. Our solar geyser unit comes with a GeyserWise system included in the price and this manages the use of the heat, so that it is not wasted.
